this video just made my night. I havent been so god focused lately, very selfish, not caring, and not doing things i should have. After this video, it just cleared my head and i’m ready for whatever god has planned for me. Today in morning service i almost couldn’t listen to our pastor speak i was so angry with the whole situation going on. But then we started to sing this song called “jesus lover of my soul” and tears just ran down my face. How could i be so selfish and not listen to what jesus wanted to tell me. I need to be not so selfish. The lyrics are amazing in the song, its awesome.

My aunt and uncle invited my family up to their rented cabin for a week up in okenama (can’t spell it). So the day after i got back from w.o.h we departed from boring sterling heights. The 4 hour drive was miserable, and had no good music it was so dissapointing. As we arrived, all i could see was the amazing lake behind the cabin. I was so excited to see that the cabin was right on the water. Me and my friend manda who i brought along jumped out and immediatly got ready. We went down by the dock and just looked around and how awesome it was and couldn’t wait to get on the boaat the next day!

my uncle let us take his car into town to scope out some cutiess on the beach, but unfortuanty all we found were nasty 40 year old, hairy men. Not my cup of tea. So we went around shopping and then came back. That night we just sat around with the family and played cardsss. My cousin vince who is 19 brought along the most hilarous person i’ve ever met, AJ. They made us laugh the whole time which was great too!

The next day we got up early and went on our awesome boat the entire day. The girls laid out and got our tan on, while all the guys stayed in the shade and drank their cold onesss. It was so awesome to have the family all together. It made so happy. My aunt, has ovarion cancer and just got over chemo treatment. Ever since, we haven’t been getting togehter as much since she was kinda outta the loop for awhile. She looked absolutly gorgeous barely any hair on her head. She honestly looked so gorgeous with it. After we were sunned out, we just hung at the cabin until all the adults went to the casino, which left 4 teenagers to a cabin to theirselves. Hmm… we all asked, what can we do? =) there was nothing to do! we sat aroun dfor at least an hour trying to find something. The scariest part was we found a blank video tape and put it on and it was a HOME VIDEO! we all freaked out!!!! i can’t explain how scary it was. We ended up having a bonfire and having some heart to heart mometns that i’ve never shared with my cousin and he never shared with me. I found out alot about some stuff, that is really kinda a shock and very hurting. I wish things were differnt but they aren’t. Things happen for a reason.

The next day, our last full day we spent it on the boat and went tubing! It was the most fun thing i did all weekend. I was getting some mad waves and fell in the water twice, but it was well worth it. That night we got all dressed up fancy and went out to a nice italian restaurant in Manistee. It was really fun and good food!

The last day we went onto lake michigan and my cousin and my friend manda jumped off the pier which looked really fun! I wanted too real bad, but i couldn’t get my hair wet since i had plans that nighttt  to go out haha. But i really wanted too.  Over all, the trip was amazing and next year we are making sure we stay for more than 3 whole days! Were looking at a full week! Here are just some more random pictures

The past 2 weeks have been so hectic! Two sundays ago we headed off for grand rapids to go serve the people there on a missions trip with my youth group. There were alot of good parts of the trip, and some down falls. The pro’s of the trip were how much closer i got with some of the people. Me and my friend Cassie became sister like on this trip, and i’m so happy for that. We are now inseperable. Even with people i never talked too before, i reached out to them and made an effort. God really spoke to me that week and just let me know that i need to rely on him on things, and stop thinking that i can do everything on my own. Ever since i got back on the trip, it’s really helped out too. The trip also opened up my eyes to how selfish a person can get. Seeing some of the people there broke my heart, and made me realize how lucky i am to be living in a nice house, having a family who loves me and supports me. It’s changed my heart alot. We had alot of fun on the trip too, or at least i did. Alot of joking aroundd, pulling pranks, alot of insider jokes <3 it was an amazing tripp over all. I believe it was either a wednesday night or a thursday night, we had a very deep chapel program at night. It made everyone so emotional and just let everything go. We sat in the chapel for almost 3 hours, crying, praying, talking with others, and helping people who needed it. I’ve never felt so much closer with axiom students before in my life. Two people really stood out to me who i think really showed their maturity and love for others, and that was caleb sanchez and mitch waldorf. Their words helped everyone and they were just amazing that night. I was so suprised and at the same time so happy.

The con’s of the trip i would have to say would be like always, drama. Even though we all hoped there would be none, it showed up on the trip. The funny part was we even got our cellphones taken away which caused even more bickering and immatureness in people. It gave me a good laugh. Another thing was, the whole brian issue with him and liz leaving. I think the whole week everyone was just kind of an emotional mess, trying to hold it all in, but sometimes you just need to let it out. It’s so hard to cry in front of them because i know its hurting them too. It’s just a bad situation, but all you can do is pray for the best.

Since the first day of kindergarten, & we met on the bench in front of the office, i knew we would be friends from that moment on. We automatically just clicked and had so much in common. Year after year we got closer and closer, and so did our families. Our older brothers became friends & hung out regulary, then came our moms. They started hanging out also, and then both our families got together on weekends to hang out. I have so much memories of us as kids and it just makes me so happy.

When we got into junior high, we both became cheerleaders and we saw each other on a daily basis outside of school. We both got into different crowds of friends which did pull us apart for awhile, but in the end we always came back to each other. We knew we couldn’t last too long without eachother.

Drama got in the way of our friendship and we disagreed on almost everything it seemed like. At one point, i couldn’t imagine us friends again and it killed me inside. How could i let go one of the only friends i could tell everything too? She was, and still is the ONLY person i trust with everything in me. I knew i couldn’t let her go, and she felt the same way. We fought for our friendship, and now we are closer then we ever have been.

I’ve realized in the past couple of years, to keep your friends and family closest too you. You cannot live without them as much as you think you can. There is always going to be that one person in your life who keeps your life going, and that girl for me is Chelsea Michele Biesbrouck. I know that when we are older, married with kids, our families will be just as close as how our families were when we were kids. I want this girl to be my maid of honor. I want her to be my kids godmother. I can’t wait to see what god has in store for our friendship. But i can tell it’s going to be amazing!

so wow, i haven’t written in probably a little over a month? pretty sad. I actually forgot about this for awhile which i’m kinda mad about. I thought i would of kept up with it but i guess not. Alot has happend since i last wrote in it. When i last wrote on here, i was a little more grounded and knew where i was in my life. I had a good grasp on where i was going, and then it all fell apart. Being a teenager inolves drama, its everywhere you go. I got into alot with it with some of my friends, guys and girls and it really tore me apart inside. Then i messed up, pretty bad. i’m ashamed of the person i was, a couple weeks ago. But i got up, and realized you need to learn from your mistakes and move on with your life, & thats exactly waht i’m going to be doing.

we recently found out that our youth pastor, brian edwards will not be our youth pastor anymore. i’m honestly just devastated. i feel like brian did an amazing job with the students there. he connected with us so well, and tried his best to include everybody and make them feel welcome. he helped students out with their personal problems and was just so caring. i never had somebody i could talk to in my life before i became a christian, then i met brian and i just felt comfterable enough to talk to him about anything. now that he is leaving, am i going to be the same person? am i going to continue being the strong person i am today? i’m very confused and frushtrated. i know i have god on my side and he will be doing the right thing for everyone so i have hope that things are going to turn out for the better. i guess i’m going to give the new aXiom a try, but i can’t really take it that seriously i don’t think. i just need to go into it with an open mind, and an open heart.

WEEK OF HOPE IS IN 2 DAYS NOW <33 we are leaving sunday morning at around 11:00am! i feel like this is going to be one awesome trip, and i’m going to take full advantage of it. i can’t wait for what god has in store for me with that trip <3

so on wednesday our youth group went to cedar point for the day which was alottta fun! I mostly hung out with BGAK and a few others. The first rollar coaster we went on was the dragstaaa which was awesome. But i think my new favorite one was maverick. There is just something about that that i love. My other favorite part about cedar point was going on kiddy rides with tyler, what a cute kid. The only bad thing about cp was when alyssa broke her finger because that was sad, and also getting carsick on the way home on the bus and not being able to sleep at bethany’s.

Tonight was a going away party for Tom & Corrine because they are stupid and have to move to Oregon . The party was really fun, people went swimming, had a bonfire, played around with the kids, and ended up falling asleep with alyssa on the couch while getting picked on by Mr. Hanks, haha. I love those people, we always are having a good time.

Tommorow i get to spend the day with my grandma which i’m really excited about. I’m going out to breakfast with her and her usual group that she goes with every saturday morning, shes been goign there for over 20 years. Then i’m going back to her house to swim and lay outtt. Later on i’m babysitting brians kids with bethany till late while the RCC softball team has a tournament, WOO GOOD LUCK .

this video is amazing. i watch it very often to remind myself to keep staying true to who i am and not to dive into temptation of the world. Being a teenager is hard enough with all the peer pressure we are surronded by. Its so easy to take the easy way out and to just give in, but are you happy with that choice? No, inside you really aren’t. I’ve done too many stupid things in my life to understand that you aren’t truely happy, and you are just looking for an easy way out. Or you are scared of what your friends will think of you, but did you ever think of what god thinks of you? He won’t judge you like your friends will. As days go on and temptation arises with my friends, i just think of how much effort, time, tears and pain it took to get to the place i am now, and its not even worth it. I think this video is just absoltuly awesome and i hope one day at my church our drama team will renact it!

Okay so this is my first day of blogging, kinda weird//kinda cool at the same time i guess. It kinda reminds of www.livejournal.com when i used to do that in like 7th grade and thought i was cool (even though i kinda was, but thats beside the point)

So yeah, yesterday was fathers day and i spent it at work! Gotta love the BigBoys <3 But i took my dad out for dinner and then ended up ditching him to go to my friend LIz’s house, and let’s just say we found the tightestttt spot in the entire world to hang out. I can’t give the locationn but its some abandoned open field with a bonfire pitt haha! We are calling it “dragonfly alley” or for short “the draggg”. Great summer hangout. This morning we layed out for awhilee and then i came home and slept a little, then we went over to our youth pastor Brian’s house and played a little mafiaa and whatnot. Pretty fun night i’d have to say. We couldn’t end the night without riding around in the bgakin car. BGAK is pretty much my life at this point, it consists of Bethany,Gina, Both ALyssas and me! We are always together and know how to have a good time =). I thank god that he has given me these girls as friends because without them i’d be in trouble.
